US singer Kandace Springs has given us a taste of her new album, which includes a collaboration with Norah Jones, her label mate on Blue Note Records.

The confirmed title will be ‘The Women Who Raised Me’ - a loving tribute to the great female singers who inspired Kandace including covers of Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Roberta Flack and Carmen McRae with modern greats too like Lauryn Hill and Sade.

"This is an album I've been wanting to make forever," says Springs. "It really expresses my love for all of these singers and gratitude for what they gave me. Each taught me something different and all of those lessons combined to make me who I am now.”

The album is out on the 27th of March, with Kandace set to play a series of headline shows in London on April 3rd and Norwich on May 12th. Find out more about the tour here.
