Kamasi Washington announced for Milestones Festival
Saxophonist Kamasi Washington will play at the Ronnie Scott's inaugural festival

Ronnie Scott’s have announced a second wave of artists for their Milestones festival in the summer.
One of the most influential jazz musicians to lead the resurgence of jazz in the US, saxophonist Kamasi Washington will headline the main stage at the festival for his only UK performance this year. It has also be announced this morning that Washington will be joined by the Mercury Prize-nominated group Seed Ensemble as well as rising stars Reuben James and Mark Kavuma.
It's also been confirmed that there will be DJ sets from Femi Koleoso from Ezra Collective, Women in Jazz and Mike Vitti.
This second wave of acts join a host of previously announced names including bassist Marcus Miller, Incognito, Courtney Pine, Omar and Jazzie B.
