Kamasi Washington comes to Herne Hill

Off the Cuff bar in the leafy South London suburb is the location for a one-off intimate set from the Jazz FM Award-winning American saxophonist on July 9th.

American saxophonist Kamasi Washington is to play an intimate night in Herne Hill, South London, as guests of indie music label Young Turks.

Kamasi will play at the Off the Cuff bar in the evening after his appearance at the Sunfall Festival in South London’s Brockwell Park on July 9th.

A Jazz FM Award winner for International Jazz Artist of the Year, Washington has received countless rave reviews for his immense three hour long debut album ‘The Epic.’ He will be joined by members of his regular band, keyboardist Brandon Coleman, bassist Miles Mosley and both Tony Austin and Ronald Bruner on drums. 

Support will come from multiple award-winning young British jazz drummer Moses Boyd performing solo drums assisted by electronics.
