Jill Scott starring in new romantic comedy film

Jazz FM favourite Jill Scott is the star of a new rom-com called ‘With This Ring’ exploring the love lives of four women. It’s based on the best selling book ‘The Vow’. Scott plays Vivian, a successful gossip columnist, who makes a pact with two friends to get married within a year after attaending their friend's wedding but subsequently find themselves up against a series of romantic dilemmas.

Jill Scott stars alongside Regina Hall, Eve and Brooklyn Sudano. The film is due for release on January 24th in the US.

She continues a highly successful acting career which has seen her also starring in the new bio-pic about James Brown called ‘Get On Up’ as well as recent episodes of US TV series ‘Stortytellers’ and the role of Precious Ramotswe in the hugely successful TV show ‘The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency’. As a singer Jill Scott remains one of the most featured artists on Jazz FM.
