Jazz Re:freshed are ‘Breakin’ Convention’ with jazz and hip-hop festival

A new event will take place at Sadler’s Wells Theatre this May

The producers of ‘Breakin’ Convention’ hip-hop and dance theatre have announced a new collaboration with London’s Jazz Re:freshed to create 3 days of entertainment at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, including workshops, children’s activities, poetry, painting and headline performances from international artists like Boy Blue Entertainment, The Locksmiths and Mufasa. 

The event will celebrate 15 years of Jazz re:freshed. Supported by Red 1 Arts and Sadler’s Wells’ 20 landmark commissions to mark the 20th anniversary of the theatre, the specially commissioned Jazz re:freshed Sonic Orchestra brings together for the first time 15 established and up and coming musicians across jazz, hip-hop and beyond, providing original soundscapes to accompany five newly commissioned works from dancers to mark both festivals’ illustrious histories:
