Jazz New Blood at Iklectik Art Lab

Some of the UK’s fiercest young jazz talent will showcase their own music at the very first Jazz New Blood Alive event, part of EFG London Jazz Festival 2016.

Some of the UK’s fiercest young jazz talent will showcase their own music at the very first Jazz New Blood Alive event, part of EFG London Jazz Festival 2016. Three afternoon dates at Iklectik Art Lab with give a platform to 10 bands and 42 musicians.

On November 13th, 19th and 20th from 3-7pm these will include Tommy Remon 4tet, Seed, Ridout 6tet, Cesca, Trialogue, Charlie Stacey Trio, Mark Kavuma 4tet, Triforce, Zeñel and Kokoroko. All the sets will be recorded for archive.

All band members are between 14 and 24 and include BBC young musician Jazz award winners and finalists, top players from National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO), Tomorrow´s Warriors, National Youth Jazz Collective (NYJC), Jazz Academy at Royal Academy of music and Trinity Laban. For more information click here.
