Jazz FM honoured at the Brazilian Embassy

Focus Brasil Foundation's Press Awards UK celebrates promoters of Brazilian Arts and Culture in UK and this year Jazz FM picked up an award for supporting and promoting Brazilian music.

Jazz FM's Chris Philips picked up the award on Thursday November 26th at the Brazilian Embassy in London. Accepting the award Chris spoke about the natural affinity between jazz and Brazilian music, Jazz FM's concert promotion of key Brazilian artists Eliane Elias and Marcos Valle and the daily relationship with Brazil's music makers through the output.

Other award winners included the Flipside Festival in Suffolk, the Rich Mix venue in London and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. All winners are listed below.
