Jamison Ross at Manchester's Band on the Wall now free entry

Manchester’s Band on the Wall venue has made their February 23rd date with Grammy-nominated U.S drummer and vocalist Jamison Ross a free entry event. This is part of their ongoing ‘Band on the Wall Recommends ..’ series.

Hotly tipped and universally acclaimed Ross won the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition in 2012, which landed him a record deal with Concord Music Group. An excellent drummer, he’s an accomplished vocalist, too. Refreshing and invigorating, Jamison Ross is the epitome of soul. A composer, arranger, vocalist and drummer, he combines his gifts to present a unique offering to the world of Jazz.  

His eponymous debut release is among the nominations for ‘Best Jazz Vocal Album’ at this month’s 58th Grammy Awards in Hollywood on February 15th.
