On their Bandcamp page the band write:

"Hi everyone,

Well, what a sad day. British music legend David Bowie has died. Like many of you, we are huge fans of his incredible body of work.

A few years back we were commissioned to write an arrangement of his brilliant song Heroes, and we were going to put out a recording of it this week in celebration of his brilliant new jazz-influenced album Black Star.

We were not expecting it to have such poignancy, but now, in celebration of the life and work of a true British creative pioneer, we are giving away our upbeat ska version of his classic tune. All that we ask in return is that if you enjoy it, you make a donation to one of these brilliant cancer charities:

Cancer Research UK who do incredible work in developing new treatments www.cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/donate

Macmillan Cancer Support who do amazing things to support cancer victims and their friends and families www.macmillan.org.uk/donate

RIP DB.
