The vinyl-only record label Gearbox Records is presenting another ‘Jazz Kissaten’ on Thursday June 23rd at Brilliant Corners in Dalston, East London. This is an intimate night of live music following the Japanese tradition of playing the best jazz music on state-of-the-art sound systems.

Gearbox are celebrating the launch of the LP ‘Dem Ones’ by Binker and Moses. Saxophonist Binker Golding and drummer Moses Boyd are both highly regarded young Lions from the British jazz scene and their collaborative album is a fiery collection of improvised free jazz pieces with great energy and invention. It was recorded in the live room at producer Mark Ronson’s Zelig Studio, direct to Gearbox's vintage analog Studer 1/4" tape machine in the next room. It’s now released on chunky 180 gram vinyl and comes with accompanying digital download.

At the ‘Jazz Kissaten’ Gearbox founder Darrel Sheinman will be playing original Blue Note ‘1500 series’ vinyl records from his vast collection as well as Gearbox Records' own audiophile releases and special 'wild card' records. Binker and Moses will perform live.
