First names for North Sea Jazz Festival 2017

Including Jamiroquai who return with a brand new project

After weeks of speculation, Jamiroquai are returning in 2017 with a new project titled ‘Automaton’. The band have announced a world tour including a headline slot at this year’s North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam.

Friday 7 July: Jamie Lidell and The Royal Pharaohs, Steve Winwood, Avishai Cohen Quartet, Lee Ritenour Group & Dave Grusin, Bill Laurance, Tiggs Da Author
Saturday 8 July: Norah Jones, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Laura Mvula, Shabaka & The Ancestors, Richard Bona Mandekan Cubano
Sunday 9 July: Jamiroquai, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Mavis Staples, Ambrose Akinmusire

Organisers say more names will be added in the coming months. The event is one of the biggest in the world and has been running since 1976.
