A newly discovered recording of Ella Fitzgerald has been released, Ella - The Lost Berlin Tapes, after it was found in a collection of records belonging to her late manager Norman Granz, the founder of the Verve label.

The live concert captures Ella with her jazz trio: pianist Paul Smith, bassist Wilfred Middlebrooks, and drummer Stan Levey on stage at the Sportpalast in Germany in March 1962.

The songs include standards like ‘Cheek To Cheek’, ‘Summertime’ and ‘Mack The Knife’, which you watch the official video below:
