Eliane Elias to premiere new album in a Brazilian double bill at Barbican

A spectacular Brazilian double bill featuring Eliane Elias and Ed Motta showcases two sides of contemporary Brazilian music at London's Barbican.

A spectacular Brazilian double bill has been announced for Monday May 4th at London’s Barbican showcasing two sides of contemporary Brazilian music. Jazz pianist and vocalist Eliane Elias will be joined by soul singer and multi-instrumentalist Ed Motta.

Elias’ latest album was a tribute to her friend and jazz legend the late Chet Baker called ‘I Thought About You’, much played on Jazz FM. Ed Motta released his latest album ‘AOR’ in bothe English and Portuguese versions.

The concert will feature music from their respective long careers, including material from  Eliane Elias’ new album ‘Made in Brazil’ which will be released on March 31st.
