In a bizarre move it appears the hacking collective Anonymous have shut down the website dionnewarwick.net, associated with the legendary soul singer. It’s not clear why the site was attacked and is believed to be the first time the group has targeted someone in the music industry instead of crporate and government sites.

It now displays a message laid over four figures wearing Guy Fawkes masks with a warning to all that completes with, "We are Anonymous , We are legion, We do not forgive, We do not forget, Expect us."

Meanwhile, Warwick’s official site now resides at dionnewarwick.us
