D’Angelo announces rare UK concert
The R’n’B superstar will perform here in March 2018
RnB / neo-soul superstar D’Angelo has announced a new tour including a stop at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on Tuesday 6 March 2018. The four-time Grammy winning singer hasn’t been in the UK for three years – he last performed here in 2014, promoting his critically acclaimed album ‘Black Messiah’.
The new show is called ‘The D’Tour’, and will feature musicians Jesse Johnson (guitar), Pino Palladino (bass), Isaiah Sharkey (guitar) and Karriem Riggins (drums and beats).
British soul icon Omar will be the support act.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Wednesday morning (18 October) and general tickets are available from Friday (20 October).
