Citizen Liv marches into Tooting

American R&B star Liv Warfield, one-time member of Prince's band, performs in Tooting this Saturday afternoon for The Streets as part of EFG London Jazz Festival.

U.S. R&B star Liv Warfield, one-time member of Prince's New Power Generation, is to perform on Saturday November 14 in Tooting, South London, along with her music writing partner Ryan Waters. Warfield is in the throws of writing and recording her new album featuring collaborations with Daru Jones, drummer for The White Stripes' Jack White, plus Owen biddle, former bass player with the Roots.

Hailing from Peoria, Illinois, she sent in an audition tape in 2006 and was selected as a member of Prince's NPG, singing vocals with Prince on his world-wide tours. She's featured on his album 'Lotusflow3r' and has since credited Prince as her musical mentor, with him producing her latest album.
