Jazz FM’s Chris Philips is celebrating as his weekly programme ‘The Blueprint’ has been named ‘Best Online Music Show – Jazz’ by streaming service Mixcloud. The organisers said “We were blown away by the thousands of nominations put forward which have been carefully analysed by our team to help bring together some of the best finalists we’ve ever had.”

The annual awards have been running for five years, celebrating online radio listening, with 29 categories and 116 nominees. Working in partnership with sponsors Discogs, the judges decided Chris was a worthy winner with his show broadcast each Saturday night dedicated to new and cutting edge jazz, presented with insight and passion.

The Blueprint has generated over 4 million listening minutes over several years. It’s one of 11 programmes available from Jazz FM each week on the digital platform via www.mixcloud.com/jazzfm

Praise for Chris flooded in from all corners of the jazz community.
