Chaka forgets the words on Letterman

There was moment of embarrassment as Chaka Khan forgot the words to a song she was performing on ‘Letterman’, one of America’s biggest TV shows.

Multi Grammy Award-winning Chaka clearly stumbled through the Weather Girls’ 1982 hit ‘It’s Raining Men’. Compounding the embarrassment was the fact that long time Music Director of the David Letterman, Paul Shaffer, co-wrote the song and was in his usual place directing the band for Chaka.

Needless to say though, Chaka’s amazing voice ad libs filled the spaces of her karaoke-like performance and raised the roof. See Chaka Khan at Love Supreme Festival across the weekend July 3rd - 5th at Glynde Place as she headlines the Saturday night.
