American Singer and pianist Buddy Greco has died at the age of 90. He rose to fame in the 1950’s touring the world with Benny Goodman and befriending Frank Sinatra (who signed him to his record label Reprise). He often sat in with Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. and collaborated with Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney, Lena Horne and many others.

He’s most famed for his finger-snapping rendition of ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’, recorded in 1962. He was a TV show host and mainstay entertainer in Las Vegas, he was inducted into the hall of fame there last November.

In 2010, he retired to Southend in Essex with his fifth wife – the actress Lezlie Anders.
