15th Rochester Jazz Fest hosts 'Made In The UK' series

Rochester International Jazz Festival in New York State returns from 24th June to 2nd July, with a focus on British jazz at the city’s Christ Church.

This week sees the return of New York’s Rochester International Jazz Festival running from 24th June to 2nd July. For this 15th edition the festival runs a ‘Made In The UK’ series at the city’s Christ Church with assistance from the PRS Foundation International Showcase Fund.

Flying the flag will be Parliamentary Jazz Award-winning pianist Alexander Hawkins, as well as Mammal Hands and Matthew Halsall and his Gondwana Orchestra making up a fine Manchester double. 

Brit songwriter and keyboardist Oli Rockberger is billed as well as guitarist Phil Robson and life partner Christine Tobin, all of whom are now based in New York City.
