This past weekend saw a successful digital and online version of Brecon Jazz Festival take place. This ambitious event, which was celebrating its 37th instalment, saw 36 sessions from Friday until last night, with performances recorded from musicians’ homes.
Highlights included a 30-minute concert from Barb Jungr with Simon Wallace and Jamie Safir, Saxophonists Tony Kofi & Alan Barnes in conversations, and the event finished with Elaina Hoss, Dominic Norcross and John-Paul Gard.
The great news for those who missed it is that the entire of the event is now available to stream until the end of the month.

Set up in 1984, the festival has brought international stars to the heart of the Brecon Beacons, including Sonny Rollins, Dionne Warwick, Courtney Pine and Jools Holland.
