Blues man Buddy Guy honoured

Chicago Blues legend Buddy Guy has been awarded the National Guitar Museum's Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States.

Chicago Blues legend Buddy Guy has been awarded the National Guitar Museum's Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States.

Buddy Guy is already a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and three times Grammy winner and in 2013 was named Chicagoan Of The Year. Considered an important link between blues guitar and rock and roll Buddy his playing influenced iconic players like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.

The National Guitar Museum is the world's first museum dedicated to the evolving history  and cultural impact of the instrument and has a touring show in the absence of a permanent fixed home.
