Blenheim Palace to host live jazz and blues series
A chance to see musicians on stage again in a socially distanced setting
Last updated 20th Jul 2020
A new series of outdoor live music and comedy shows is launching at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire this week, with Sunday jazz and blues programmed by our own David Freeman. Over the summer, the venue is offering a ‘Picnic at the Palace’ for groups of up to six people at tables or using deckchairs. Picnic hampers are included in the ticket price with a choice of meat, vegetarian or vegan selections sourced locally.
The lineup includes Ric Sanders with Vo Fletcher, Martin Harley, Dom & The Ikos, Tom Seals and 2019 Jazz FM Award nominee Errol Linton. There’s also a special acoustic set from Omar on Friday 31st July. On the comedy stage headliners Ivo Graham and Janine Harouni have been announced so far.
“This really is a socially-distanced outdoor experience like no other, it’s the perfect way to reconnect with loved ones and make the most of the British summer in one of the most beautiful locations anywhere in the country,” said Francesca Nally, Managing Director Midsummer Nightcap.
