The Rolling Stones bassist will take part in an intimate London gig held at Strand Pizza Express on July 1st.
Wyman has teamed up with boogie-woogie piano great Ben Waters, along with Steely Dan’s guitarist Elliot Randall for two shows (at 5.30pm and 9.30pm) next Wednesday. Together they will dig deep into King’s back catalogue; Waters said "BB King's music melts into the soul. It has affected every musician on that stage and we are proud to stand up and remember a true giant of the Blues."
BB King had suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure, before his death last month aged 89. Any profits made from the gigs will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
