George Benson, Marc Almond, Joss Stone and Burt Bacharach are being lined up for a new concert experience in London this summer, where the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith will be turned into a glamorous dining room. It’s called ‘The Apollo Nights Summer Series’; where guests will be hosted with drinks and a three-course meal from award-winning chef Bryn Williams while the artists perform an intimate set on each of five nights. Joss Stone and 90-year-old Burt Bacharach are reunited after their successful series of concerts in 2015, while singer Marc Almond, who recently recorded an album of boogie-woogie with Jools Holland, will host a night of cabaret and burlesque on 20th July.

Speaking to Jazz FM on Nigel Williams Saturday Show, George Benson said: “It sounds interesting, man I haven't seen that theatre since they renovated it but I'm sure it's gonna be fantastic. Food is an art too you know, and it's a pleasurable event too so hopefully with that and the music it's a double pleasure!"
