Andrew McCormack Trio's East-ender
Andrew McCormack is to present music from critically acclaimed album ‘First Light’ on Thursday December 3rd at Chats Palace in East London.
The world-class pianist and composer Andrew McCormack returns to London with his trio on Thursday December 3rd for a date at Chats Palace in East London.
McCormack has been performing extensively around the world, as well as being a key member of both Kyle Eastwood and Colin Townes' bands. His recent ‘First Light’ album marks his first major collaboration as leader with US counterparts Zack Lober (double bass) and Colin Stranahan (drums) with originals and renditions, including a swinging cover of Monk’s ‘Pannonica.’
For the Chats Palace date he is joined by much lauded double bass player Sam Lasserson, and drummer Tim Giles.
