An intimate night with Courtney Pine and Zoe Rahman

British saxophonist Courtney Pine has announced a duo date with Mercury Music Prize nominee and MOBO Award-winning pianist Zoe Rahman at London’s Kings Place, on March 19th. Courtney will play bass clarinet in an evening of intimate music called ‘Courtney Pine Presents Song (The Ballad Book).’

'I have always wanted to record a collection of my favourite ballads and there is nothing like performing in a duet format for bringing out the intimacy of great songs.”, Courtney said.

Courtney has been a pioneer British jazz musician and has been awarded both OBE and CBE for services to music.
