A brand new one-day festival dedicated to the music of John Coltrane is set to happen in London next month, curated by British saxophonist Denys Baptiste – it follows the release of his acclaimed ‘Late Trane’ album last summer.

‘Coltrane Culture’ will be held at the Mirth, Marvel and Maud space in Walthamstow, with live performances from Tomorrow’s Warriors, Gary Crosby, Evan Parker Charlie Dark and Alina Bzhezhinska. There’s a screening of the acclaimed ‘Chasing Trane’ documentary with Q&A, a DJ set with our own Jez Nelson, and even a chance to try jazz yoga.

‘Coltrane Culture’ is all happening on Saturday 17th February, supported using public funding by Arts Council England. Details and tickets HERE.
