Other contemporary performers include Melanie Charles, Fatoumata Diawara, Tord Gustavsen, and Jazz FM Award-winning multi-instrumentalist and producer Emma-Jean Thackray, who’s part of the closing weekend’s club nights with a headline show at east London’s Village Underground (20 Nov), she and her band are set to reimagine classic UK dance tracks, for a one-off 'jazz rave' special.
On top of all that, the first names have been confirmed for the Jazz Voice opening gala at the Royal Festival Hall with an orchestra conducted and arranged by Guy Barker, featuring guest singers like Kurt Elling, Amythyst Kiah, Carroll Thompson and Dana Masters.
