16 live sides of Brad Mehldau

Pianist Brad Mehldau is releasing a giant eight L.P vinyl box set ’10 Years Solo’ aggregating 19 recordings from European solo concerts.

The L.Ps are organised into themes of four sides. These are Dark/Light, The Concert, Intermezzo / Rückblick and E Minor / E Major. Music includes interpretations of Lennon & McCartney, Radiohead, Nirvana, The Beach Boys, Bobby Timmons, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Brahms, various standards and more.

Release date is October 16 on Nonesuch Records. CD and digital versions of the album will follow.
