The 64th annual Grammy Award-nominations have been revealed with 86 categories in total, including awards for jazz, R&B, blues and more.
Singer, pianist, multi-Jazz FM Award-winner, and now film composer Jon Batiste has picked up eleven nominations, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are up for six, while the late Chick Corea has been recognised for four including his duets album with Eliane Elias.
Among Jon Batiste's nominations - which rank the highest in the 2022 list - are "Record of the Year", "Album of the Year", "Best R&B Album".
Kurt Elling, The Baylor Project and Esperanza Spalding are all in the best jazz vocal category, with Jazzmeia Horn, Christian McBride and the Sun Ra Arkestra all up for best large ensemble.

When are the 2022 Grammy Awards being announced?
The Recording Academy originally scheduled the 2022 GRAMMY Awards to take place on 31 January 2022 in the U.S, but they have been postponed until further notice, due to worries surrounding global COVID-19 omicron cases.
The ceremony will now take place on Sunday the 3rd of April 2022 in Las Vegas (8-11:30 pm, Eastern Time / 5-8:30 pm, Pacific Time). The results will come through in the early hours of the 4th of April UK time from 1am, with the full list of results expected by 4:30am.
Who is hosting the 2022 Grammy Awards?
The 2022 Grammys will be hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah, who hosted the 2021 Grammys.
"Trevor was amazing as our host for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards with praise from the music community, music fans and critics," said Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy. "We're so excited to welcome Trevor back to the GRAMMYs stage and feel fortunate to once again have him hosting what we believe will be an unforgettable evening.”
