Witnesses sought after cyclist left in critical condition in Leeds crash

Collision with parked car occurred in Collingham on Harewood Road

A serious collision involving a cyclist and a parked car in Collingham has left a man in a critical condition.

The crash happened on Harewood Road at the junction with Green Lane around 7.45pm on 27th November.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Police have since confirmed that he is stable but remains in hospital.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit are investigating the incident and are urging witnesses to come forward.

They would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw the collision, or the cyclist in the moments leading up to it, and from anyone with dashcam footage recorded around the time of the crash.
