There's a warning not to go near electrical powerlines - especially if young people across Yorkshire are out looking for something to do during the holidays.

Northern Powergrid said it can be incredibly dangerous, and if something gets caught by their substation, to call for help, and don't attempt to get it yourself.

Leena Markovic is the Social Responsibility Officer and has this advice for parents and carers: "It's making sure the children are aware of where our network is and we have a lot of our substations scattered in and around estates.

"So, it's making them aware that they are not to go anywhere near them, because they are really unsafe."

To report an issue involving Northern Powergrid substations, including something caught in the substation, call the number 105.
