Three arrested after 'disturbance' and stabbing in Swillington
Police were called to Hill Crest last night
Three people have been arrested after police were called to a 'disturbance' in Swillington last night and later found a man with stab wounds.
Officers were called to reports of an assault in Hill Crest at 9:14pm yesterday.
A 53 year old man was found injured, with damaged to the home and a vehicle.
The police were contacted by the ambulance service a short time later after they were called to a man with stab wounds in Temple Avenue, Rothwell.
The 26 year old is being treated in hospital but has also been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage in connection to the incident in Hill Crest.
A 25 year old man who was with him Rothwell was also arrested, with the 53 year old found injured in Swillington questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
