Man charged after police officer hit by vehicle in Bradford

He's due to appear in court today

A man has been charged after a police officer was hit by a vehicle in Bradford earlier this week.

It happened in the Girlington area of the city on Monday (November 11).

Zain Iqbal, aged 28, of Ridgeway in Leeds, has been charged with attempt wounding, dangerous driving and failing to stop.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Bradford Magistrates Court today.
