Man arrested after 'rifle' pointed at police in Leeds
Armed officers were called to a house in Halton on Tuesday night (June 18)
A man has been arrested on suspicion of firearm offences after what's thought to have been an air rifle was pointed at police.
It happened as officers carried out searches for a missing person at an address in Halton on Tuesday night (June 18).
They pulled out and called armed officers in, who then carried out searches of the property, where they discovered an air rifle.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He remains in custody.
