Overturned lorry carrying glass closes M62 in West Yorkshire
Authorities are warning cleanup efforts could take a long time
An overturned lorry is causing major rush hour disruption on the M62 in West Yorkshire, after spilling glass across the carriageway.
The road is currently closed westbound between junctions 29 (Lofthouse) and 30 (Oulton)., whilst several lanes of the road eastbound are also shut off.
The lorry involved has overturned onto the central reservation.
National Highways is warning cleanup efforts will take a significant amount of time and are urging drivers to avoid the key route.
Diversions are in place via the M1, A639 and A642.
