Labour's first Budget in 14 years is taking place tomorrow (Wednesday 30 October) by the Chancellor and Leeds West and Pudsey MP, Rachel Reeves.

There's speculation that fuel duty could be increased by 5p and 8p a litre.

Taxi drivers in Bradford told us they are not happy about this.

Sajid Akram, a Hackney Carriage taxi driver in the city said: "This trade isn't working anymore, because of the fuel. Especially with our cars being diesel, because we can't use a hybrid in a Hackney Carriage."

He told us he's unsure if the cost would be past onto the customer, he said: "We don't really know at the moment, because looking at the situation in Bradford, there's no point putting it on them, because they won't be able to afford it.

"There's a lot of competition and there's hardly any work anyway."

The Government have not confirmed that fuel duty is going up, but they have previously said it's trying to bridge a £22 billion 'black hole' in the public finances.
