Baby in hospital after death of a woman in Leeds
Police were called to Burmantofts yesterday
A baby is being treated in hospital after being delivered following the death of a woman who fell from a height in Leeds.
Emergency services were called to Burmantofts yesterday morning.
Officers go on to say there aren't any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Police said:
"At 10.24am 22/10/24), police were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called to an incident where a woman had fallen from height in Burmantofts.
"The woman died at the scene as result of her injuries.
"There were no suspicious circumstances and the Coroner’s Office has been informed.
"The woman, aged in her thirties, was in the late stage of pregnancy and her baby was delivered at hospital after the incident and is receiving critical care."
