A 77 year old woman has been seriously injured after a crash involving a stolen car in Yeadon.

Police were called to Cemetery Road, close to the junction with Haw Lane, at around 2pm on November 21.

A silver Citroen DS5, in which with woman was a passenger, was in a collision with a white Vauxhall Corsa which was subsequently reported stolen.

The woman is now recovering at home after being treated in hospital.

The driver of the Corsa left the scene of the crash along with another man in a white old style Sean Leon before the arrival of emergency services.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who recorded dashcam footage at the scene, is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
