With a Covid Christmas around the corner one Facebook video has gone viral as it combines Christmas with Coronavirus... and it's better than it sounds.

Now That’s What I Call A Corona Christmas from the Ulster Fry Facebook account features Christmas classics with a 2020 twist.

The viral video, which reimagines all the usual favourites, has already racked up millions of views online.

WARNING: The following video contains some bad language

An X-Factor style voiceover introduces each track, which draw inspiration from pandemic related events. Hits include Sanitizer’s Coming To Town, Frosty Got Furloughed and even a cameo of Prime Minister Boris Johnson singing 'Tis the Season like never heard before (although we're fairly sure it's not actually him!)

References throughout the video to the biggest news stories of the pandemic help to provide a thorough festive recap of this Covid ridden year.

As well as providing some light relief, the soundtrack is raising funds for the Cash for Kids appeal which supports children and young people in need across the UK.

Created by Keith Law, from our sister stations Downtown & Cool FM, the soundtrack offers a merry outlook on a difficult year.

Keith is delighted to see its popularity:

“This track has been in the works for some time. Obviously, we’re very sensitive to the current difficulties but people love it and laughter is needed now more than ever before.

"I think that’s why it’s resonated. I dare you not to laugh out loud!”

Speaking of his favourite tracks on the album, he said: "I love Grandma's Got to Quarantine Until Christmas as do a lot of the fans out there. Chris Rea's Driving's Banned for Christmas really sums up the whole notion of everything being banned for Christmas."
