UK terror threat level raised to 'severe' following Liverpool attack
The Home Secretary announced the move with immediate effect

The UK's terror threat level has been raised to 'severe', following the terrorist attack at a hospital in Liverpool.
Home Secretary, Priti Patel, announced the measures as details about the plot are being investigated.
As a result, the threat level of terror in the UK has been brought up from 'substantial' to 'severe', meaning that a terror attack is "highly likely".
Speaking about the decision, the Home Secretary cited that there had been two attacks within the space of a month, including the fatal stabbing of the MP Sir David Amess - but could not expand on details further.
"We continue to work with our world-class security, intelligence and policing services. There is a live investigation taking place right now - but we as a Government and I as Home Secretary continue to work with everyone to make sure we are taking all the necessary steps required".
Mrs Patel also extended her thoughts to the people of Liverpool in the wake of the "terrible incident which clearly has had a very significant across the community".
Liverpool has been rocked followingthe attack outside the city's Women's Hospital, when a man detonated a bomb outside the front of the building in a taxi.
