Thousands raised after Ryanair pilots killed in motorway crash

Two Ryanair pilots, killed in a motorway crash this week, have been described as "amazing colleagues."
An online fundraiser has been set up, with more than £25,000 donated to support their families so far.
Matt Greenhalgh, 28, and Jamie Fernandes, 24, worked as Captain and Senior First Officer, and were based at both Manchester and Liverpool Airports.
They were travelling to Liverpool Airport in a taxi on Thursday morning (11th July), when the vehicle was involved in a collision with two lorries on the M62 between junctions eight and seven.
Matt and Jamie died at the scene, and Cheshire Police say their next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
The taxi driver is in hospital, and one of the lorry drivers was arrested.

An online fundraiser has been set up by one of Matt and Jamie's colleagues at Ryanair.
The page description reads: "Here at Ryanair we are sad to hear of the loss of 2 amazing colleagues I had the pleasure of working with in Manchester. Matt & Jamie also worked with our colleagues based in Liverpool and will be missed by all.
"So as a team we would like to raise some money to go and help Matt & Jamie’s families with any costs for funeral arrangements etc and after in the long term.
"At the moment I’m aiming for £1000 with half of any proceedings going towards Matt’s family and the other half Jamie’s family.
"Two amazing guys gone too soon."
