Glastonbury's first full day of music, after a 2 year festival absence, is taking place today, where fans can expect to see the likes of former Led Zeppelin front-man Robert Plant, Sam Fender and Rufus Wainwright taking to the Pyramid Stage.

This Friday also marks the addition of Glastonbury's youngest ever solo headliner - Billie Eilish - who is performing at only 20-years-old.

Today's exciting lineup is not however confined to just the main stage, as indie fans can expect to see Foals, Supergrass and Idles at the Other Stage.

Rap and RnB enthusiasts can also look forward to Little Simz at the West Holts Stage and Arlo Parks at The Park Stage.

Old Schoolers are also not left out today and are treated to the likes of The Undertones on the Acoustic Stage, Reef on the Avalon Stage followed by Billy Bragg playing at Left Field.

The Kidzfield is also open from 9am today up until early this evening, so if you fancy a day of storytelling, hair-braiding, helter-skelters and Basil Brush - this is the field for you.

If you're travelling down to the festival today, you should be aware that half of the trains to Castle Cary station have been cancelled because of national rail strike action.

GWR told passengers: "We plan to maintain timetabled trains between Castle Cary and London Paddington throughout the course of the Glastonbury Festival.

They also said however: "Some services might be subject to alterations to train times and we will be in contact with customers who have already booked seats on board those trains."

So make sure you double-check your train before you leave the house.

This limited train service is also expected to lead to more people driving down to the festival this weekend - so if you're getting in the car today, it's best to load up on fuel and bring snacks for your passengers!
