Fire crews have been at the scene of a large blaze which broke out at the legendary Pinewood Studios last night.

At its peak 11 fire crews were at the scene at an industrial unit on Pinewood Road in Iver Heath.

The building was being used as a commercial workshop. Another building nearby was also damaged by the flames.

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service says four main jets and a turntable ladder were used to extinguish the flames.

A thermal imaging drone supplied by Thames Valley Police was used to assist.

Crews from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service were also at the scene.

The number of firefighters was scaled back after 11pm.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is now underway. There are no reports of any injuries.

The studios at Pinewood are best known as the home of the James Bond and Carry On film franchises, but have also been home to many other productions over the years.

Recently Pinewood has been involved in the filming of blockbusters Black Widow and Cruella, as well as TV favourites like Taskmaster and RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
