Eddie Howe confirmed as new Newcastle head-coach
The former Bournemouth boss takes over from Steve Bruce

Newcastle have FINALLY announced a new manager - Eddie Howe!
After parting company with Steve Bruce and then up's and down's with speculation about several other candidates the club's new owners have got their man.
43 year old Howe has signed a 2 1/2 year deal with the Magpies.
He's managed Bournemouth (twice) and Burnley in the past (sandwiched in between spells at the South Coast club).
At Bournemouth Howe performed miracles and guided them from the bottom of League 2 to the Premier League.
He'll be joined at St James' Park by assistant manager Jason Tindall and other backroom staff and as we know Graeme Jones, who's been interim manager, will stay on too.

Eddie said: “It is a great honour to become head coach of a club with the stature and history of Newcastle United. It is a very proud day for me and my family.
“This is a wonderful opportunity, but there is also a lot of work ahead of us and I am eager to get onto the training ground to start working with the players.
“I would like to thank the club’s owners for this opportunity and thank the club’s supporters for the incredible welcome they have already given me. I am very excited to begin our journey together.”
