Two men assaulted on A2 carriageway in Kent

They were assaulted on an exit of the busy A-road

Two men are being treated in hospital after an assault that happened on the London-bound A2 carriageway.

The incident was reported to have happened between 5am and 5:40am on the 14th December.

The assault took place between the A2050 and the A28 near the exit for Wincheap, Canterbury.

Both men have been taken to hospital.

One is thought to have serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital, whilst the other is being treated at a local hospital.

Kent Police are calling for anyone who saw the cars - a Silver Mercedes Benz C class and white SEAT - in the moments leading up to the assault to come forward.

Drivers with any dashcam footage are also being urged to submit it to the police.
