The A11 is likely to remain closed in both directions between Mildenhall and Thetford after a serious crash earlier today.

A lorry, a Land Rover and a Porche were involved in the collsion shortly after 10:30am this morning (1 June).

The driver of one of the Porche, a woman, has been flown to Addenbrookes by air ambulance with serious injuries where she remains.

The lorry driver is being treated at West Suffolk Hospital for injuries which aren't thought to be serious.

The road is currently closed southbound between Barton Mills and Thetford and northbound between Barton Mills and Elvedon.

Suffolk Police say the collsion has caused major damage to the central reservation barrier and the carriageway is likely to remain closed into the early hours of tomorrow.

Local diversions are in place.
