Woman seriously injured in East Suffolk crash

A car collided with a tree at Blythburgh yesterday

A woman has been seriously injured in a crash in East Suffolk.

It happened at about midday yesterday on Reydon Road in Blythburgh.

A white Vauxhall Corsa vehicle was traveling on the A1095 from Southwold towards the junction with the A12.

It overtook a blue Vauxhall Corsa before leaving the road and hitting a tree.

The driver was taken to Addenbrookes with serious head injuries. There were no other injuries.

Police are now seeking witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage of what happened.
