Woman injured in Tuddenham crash dies in hospital

Police are re-newing their call for witnesses

A woman injured in a crash at Tuddenham has died.

It happened last Saturday (6 February) at about 2pm on Higham Road.

A black Mercedes C Class, travelling from Tuddenham towards the A14 and a black Ford Focus travelling from the A14 towards Tuddenham were in collision.

The occupants of the Mercedes, a man and a woman, sustained injuries. They were all taken to Addenbrooke's hospital by land ambulance for treatment. The other two casualties involved remain in hospital. The female who a passenger in the Mercedes died on Wednesday {10 February).

The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) also attended the incident.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and anyone who saw the collision or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles should contact Suffolk police quoting CAD reference 192 of 6 February 2021.
